The purpose of the GAIN-EPRI-NEI: Microreactor Program Virtual Workshop was to inform advanced nuclear technology developers and stakeholders of accomplishments and future plans, as well as solicit feedback on microreactor developer and end-user needs.
Molten Salt Reactor Workshop 2019 October 2-3, 2019 – Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN The 2020 Molten Salt Reactor Workshop was held virtually on October 14-15, 2020 from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. There was an overwhelming response to the workshop and approximately 500 people registered to attend. The topics presented at this workshop included: Chemistry Activities Materials Research University Research Licensing Topics and Approaches International Activities Chemistry II/ Modeling Driven Systems/Fuel Cycle Approaches First Next Reactors
The first industry/DOE Fast Reactor Workshop was held July 9-10 at Argonne National Laboratory. The 40 Workshop attendees included 19 from US industry representing 10 different companies; representatives from DOE, NRC, and NIA also participated.
