The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with the nuclear industry those issues related to the NEI 21-07, Revision 0, “Technology Inclusive Guidance for Non-Light Water Reactors Safety Analysis Report Content for Applicants Utilizing NEI 18-04 Methodology.”
This webinar reviewed the designs of heat-pipe microreactors, steady-state and transient simulation of MAGNET by SAM, to explore the performance limit by heat transfer and temperature distribution.
The purpose of this workshop was to engage the nuclear industry in discussions on advanced manufacturing codes, standards, demonstrations, and advanced techniques to accelerate commercialization.
The 2021 Molten Salt Reactor Workshop was held virtually on October 12-13, 2021 from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. There was a tremendous response to the workshop this year and approximately 700 people registered for the event.
This year’s program will feature panel discussions on 21st century applications for advanced reactors, the technology’s implications for environmental justice, and its role within the broader cleantech ecosystem.
This presentation offered a strategic overview of the impact that advanced manufacturing has on the lifecycle of new generation reactors.

The GAIN-EPRI-NEI: Advanced Reactors Safeguards & Security Virtual Workshop’s purpose was to receive industry feedback on the technical work in the DOE-NE Advanced reactor Safeguards Program and inform program R&D related to material control and accountability and physical protection for advanced reactors.
The 2020 Molten Salt Reactor Workshop was held virtually on October 14–15, 2020 from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. There was an overwhelming response to the workshop this year and approximately 500 people registered for this year’s workshop.
This workshop sought to create a space where advanced nuclear technology developers, commercial instrument suppliers, and sensor researchers from DOE national laboratories, universities, and industry could exchange information.
