GAIN’s NE Voucher Program seeks to accelerate the commercialization of nuclear energy technologies by providing funding and access to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy’s world-class expertise and resources across its national lab complex. GAIN is available to assist interested applicants through every step of the process. For information on the GAIN NE Voucher application process, contact Chris Lohse, Innovation & Technology Manager, at [email protected] or 925-698-9988.
In addition to the GAIN NE voucher, there are many funding opportunities available to nuclear technology developers and suppliers through the U.S. Department of Energy.
Partnering with any entity can be overwhelming. GAIN is ready to support the industry as it learns about and works through the contract process.
GAIN works with the industry to identify data or documents that they need. From there, GAIN tailors the approach to locate the documents and get them to industry.
GAIN — in close coordination with the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission — provides nuclear industry stakeholders, including developers, license applicants, and owner-operators with guidance through regulatory framework development and licensing support.
