Join us on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. MT/Noon ET for a webinar about the Versatile Test Reactor (VTR), the first new test reactor the Department of Energy has pursued in at least 30 years. Once built, the VTR will be a one-of-a-kind capability that can perform tests and research simply not possible with today’s infrastructure. During the webinar, Kemal Pasamehmetoglu, the executive director of the VTR program, will share an overview and update on milestones, including the recent CD-1 announcement. Immediately following, experts from industry, think tanks, government and the labs, and academia will participate in a panel discussion covering a range of topics, including U.S. competitiveness, energy innovations, research developments and new capabilities.
