October 4-5, 2017
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with the nuclear industry and other stakeholders the initiatives within the industry and NRC related to the development and licensing of non-light water reactors.
The 2017 Fall Meeting of the Materials Research Society will take place from November 26 to December 1, 2017, in Boston, Massachusetts. The world's foremost international scientific gathering for materials research, the MRS meeting showcases leading interdisciplinary research in both fundamental and applied areas, coordinated by over 200 scientists from both academia and industry in many countries around the world.
Now in its fifth year, the Advanced Reactors Summit V will take place at the world-renowned Texas A&M University after successive ground-breaking Summits at Argonne National Laboratory, the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The Summit V will continue its focus on showcasing technology developers and advancing solutions on the cost and deployment timeframe of advanced reactors, as well as practical ideas and concepts that have the potential of significantly improving advanced reactor design, deployment, and operations.
Facilitate a discussion between technology developers, energy users, and investors to identify gaps and needs associated with deployment of advanced reactors. Also provide information on the regulatory environment and incentives used to support deployment of advanced reactors.
Join your colleagues from nearly 70 nations at the meeting that the global minerals, metals, and materials community calls home.
NRC's 30th annual RIC — the largest technical meeting sponsored by the NRC – bringing together diverse groups of stakeholders to learn, share, and discuss information on significant, timely and emerging regulatory activities.

NEW! The RIC is free and open to the public.  There is no registration fee but participants must register to attend the conference. Pre-registration for the RIC will be available online beginning in early January 2018.
